Nutritional Testing and Evaluation

A significant majority of conditions and symptoms experienced today are the results of nutritional deficinecies affecting body systems. Our society is bombarded daily with advertising promoting food products that are deprived of essentail nutrients needed by our body to support major system fucntions. In addition, today's food is loaded with chemicals preservatives, dyes, altered sugar, and other ingredient that can not be metabolized by or body, resulting in toxic overload. After years of accumulation, these toxens do affect major body systems and results in signs and symtoms associates with many conditions such as; blood sugar handling problem and diabetes, liver and gallbaldder problem, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, thyroid dysfunction, male and female hormone imbalance, constipation and diarrhea, acid reflux, and breast cystitis, just to name a few.

System Survey Questionaire

As its name suggests, System Survey was designed to evaluate 8 major body systems. Each sections of the questionaire include specific questions that correspond to symtoms that can develop when body systems are not functioning within their normal limits. Once completed by the patient, the answers are loaded into a computer program that evaluate and cross reference answers with known clinical data. A score is given to each body system and then the software produces a list the most affected body system(s). The program then list the most significant deficiencies and create a nutritional protocol to help support system function. System Survey has been in use for over 40 years and it a reliable tool in the evaluation of nutritional deficiencies. However, since it is a patients self assesment it is considered subjective in nature, it may need to be confirmed by other more standerdise testing method such as the NDIS system.

Nutritional Deficiency Identification System (NDIS)

NDIS was developed over the past 25 years by Dr. James Henry, one of our staff doctors. Dr. Henry received a patent form the US Patent Office in 1990 for his testing system. NDIS is a computer aided nutritional evaluation system that registered changes in body temperature changes when a specific nutrients are tested. Over 70 different nutrients and nutraceutical formulations are tested, giving a very comprehensive analysis of body nutritional needs.
